Are you on the Voters List?
Whether your own or rent in Port Colborne, you can call 905-835-2900 ext. 109 or firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm if you are registered to vote in the 2018 Municipal and School Board Election.
Once you receive your voter card in the mail, you can also contact the Clerk's Division with any revisions you may have to the information on your card. If you don't receive a voter card, you can contact the Clerk's Division to be placed on the voter's list.
Voter Notification Card
Voter Notification Cards were mailed the week of September 17 to all electors in Port Colborne on the Voters’ List. If you have not received your Voter Notification Card, or if the information is incorrect, please visit City Hall, 66 Charlotte Street, Port Colborne, call 905-835-2900 ext. 109 or email email@example.com. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
A Voters’ Notification Card indicates that you are on the Voters’ List, tells you when and where to vote, and best of all, makes voting quicker! Bring your Voter Notification Card and identification with you on Voting Day - October 22 - or to one of the Advanced Voting dates – October 10, 13 or 17.
Acceptable forms of identification are listed on the City’s website at http://www.mah.gov.on.ca. You may still vote if you do not have a Voter Notification Card.
Did you receive a Voter Notification Card for someone who is not at your address?
The information the City uses to generate the Voters' List is provided by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).
You may contact MPAC at their Customer Care Centre to remove occupant names that should no longer be associated with a property/unit at 1-866-296-6722.

Voting locations will be open beginning at 10 a.m. and closing promptly at 8 p.m.
Municipal Offices to be elected in 2018
One (1) to be elected, at large within the City. Also serves as a member of Regional Council.
Eight (8) to be elected, two (2) from each of the four (4) municipal wards.

One (1) to be elected for the combined area of Port Colborne, Fort Erie and Wainfleet.
French Language Public School Board (Conseil scolaire Viamonde)
One (1) to be elected for the combined area of Port Colborne, Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Pelham, Port Colborne, Thorold, Welland and Wainfleet.
French Language Catholic School Board (Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir)
One (1) to be elected for the combined area of Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Wainfleet, Pelham and Welland.
